Alyssa Morrisy of Bold Business Coach has a breezy style that is both comforting and straightforward. In other words, you instantly like her for her informational style. Her story is one that occurs often for women: You get a degree, finally find a job, children start to come, and then you realize the corporate world leads no where for you. It’s a story you hear time and again and is probably the driving force behind women forming 28.7% of all nonfarm businesses across the country.

You don’t have to come up with the next big thing but need to focus on something that you do well or look to your own life experience to service a need that is not being met.
Social Media
Despite the general thinking social media is not a complete marketing campaign. It is a tool that allows you to connect with people to keep them engaged in what you have to offer. You don’t need to be on every platform as long as you are effective on at least one.
Focus beyond the small things
Too often women get weighed down and overwhelmed by the color of their business cards and headers on their Twitter profile when the overriding goal should be how does what I’m doing generate revenue? A website and other things will be changed along the way and those changes will tell you what works and doesn’t to generate that revenue. So relax, the business cards will take care of themselves.
