The English Sisters came up on my radar after meeting one of their English colleagues. I use Ericksonian Hypnosis a great deal in my practice (some people call it waking Stress Free in Three Minutes.1 jpghypnosis as a story is told in the form of a metaphor or key word and the client makes meaning of it based on his or her own life experiences, to then work through getting over a life hurdle) and I became fascinated with the way the two finish each other’s sentences or thoughts in an almost lyrical manner to create a compelling yet relaxing narrative. That they were able to do it in three minutes really got my interest, I’m fast but not that fast. This type of hypnosis or NLP is sought a great deal by entrepreneurs looking to unlock creative thinking right down to the person looking to get over panic attacks or phobias.

The two have written numerous books for children, change, and hypnosis. In this one they sought to provide something that you could not only use to get instant stress reduction because the stories really only last about three minutes, but take with you to the office, on your way to an interview, while in a waiting room, or just about anywhere that you have three minutes to let your mind hear the unspoken message to relax.

I found them both very engaging as they described being housewives who drifted into the field and then used their new found training to empower themselves into well known practitioners who now live in Rome, Italy but are English to the core. After hearing their stories you will realize that they are a living, breathing testament to the skill they practice.
