In numerous posts I have mentioned that it helps to visualize your dream, and then to be persistent in working to bring that dream into reality. Well, I recently ran into the living embodiment of that concept: a 10 year old by the name of Damon Weaver.
Damon decided to get into the news business as part of a school assignment during the 2008 election and got a chance to meet a number of big names including now Vice President Joe Biden. Following the election of Barack Obama he let it be known that his greatest dream was to get an interview with the President. Keep in mind that Damon lives in a very small town in Florida and does not come from a privileged background, but this kid dreams BIG!
Damon lobbied and lobbied and never gave up. Last week, he finally got his interview with the President. And so, whether you voted for Barack Obama or not, you have to be proud of Damon’s interview presented below:

I love this kid! I would be scared to death if I had to interview the President. He is more than poised.
He is a very brave little boy. He will go far in the world.
