The race of life is not always won by the swiftest… but the one with the most desire!

You may have questioned in the past if it was possible to have the success you desired and based that questioning doubted if you were smart enough, knew enough, had the right connections or a host of other things. But, I am here to tell you that all of those things come after you have made a decision that you are determined to have whatever it is that drives you. I say that and you know I am right because everyone has had the experience of wanting something and then moving heaven and earth to get it, be it big or small, and then one day you had it. The trick now is to harness that energy because once you have harnessed it to direct your focus the circumstances will begin to work in your favor.

A friend in Australia sent me the following interview and I have included it because it speaks volumes in terms of the effect desire has on outcome. Notice he points out that IQ and intelligence have little to do with achieving the things you want in life. Desire is the prime motivator! Desire causes you to look for ways to advance your goals and even creates luck because it causes you to be in the right place at the right time. Creating that mental image of the desired goal is why I have spent so much time in the previous sections asking you to give serious thought to what it is that you want and how you see that changing your life.
