I trust that you have taken the time as I suggested and wrote out all the things you desired for yourself. This is generally a revealing exercise. The list itself should give you an idea of where you have been and possibly where you want to go just because you sat down and thought about it. It also allows you to do some soul searching to ask yourself “Do I really want these things?”
The next step is to ask yourself “Of all the things that I listed, which are really important for the direction I now want to follow?” This is the perfect time to take out all the things that have been put upon you by others, all of the ‘should’ messages and really give thought to how you would like to see your life. Again, use this time for thinking along the lines of no limits. If you were to wake up tomorrow and were able to rearrange your life what would you would want in it.

Now, pick one or two of the most significant desires and just begin to imagine what they would mean for your life. You can have your dreams but you have to begin with a clear vision of you having it. Take a moment and just close your eyes and see yourself having it to make this real for your current situation. See it, taste it, smell it, enjoy how good it feels to be able to do whatever it is that you have dreamed about.
The previous instruction is extremely important because the next step is for you to take a moment and mentally commit yourself to putting every ounce of energy you can muster into making what you just imagined reality. Nothing is greater than desire! And, seeing how good you feel once you have achieved your desire is your motivator.
I said previously that the subconscious does not ask why, only how. The goal of this exercise is to give it as clear an instruction as possible of you having the thing you desire so that it can begin to look for ways to accomplish this desire. Begin today and repeat this exercise everyday to develop a clear sense of how good it will feel to have the thing desired.
I’m ending this blog by putting out a general call to other bloggers who would like to discuss and display their passion, to tell others how they have charted their direction. My blog is now open to anyone who would like to contact me.
Just for fun I tried it and was shocked at what I discovered about my thinking.
I develop poetry and would like you to feature me on your blog. I don’t have a blogger account but will contact you through your website.
